Now you know ... how crazy one couple can be

jdclose.jpg

The wedding was fun, wasn't it?
Blue skies, a gentle zephyr ...
We had a fabulous time and hope you did, too.
As promised, here are the highlights, the updates and the tall tales ...

FAST FACTS

1. The marriage is legal: The signed license was delivered to the judge's office on Monday ... after the couple fished it out of a file Sunday morning and had it signed (in crayon) by the witnesses (Maureen Connally and Derek Walker) before they hit the high road.

2. Yes, the site of the wedding was located smack-dab over a field of ragweed. (But didn't it look pretty?) If you sniffled and snorted through the ceremony, we are sorry.

3. The vows spoken at the ceremony were identical ... we've included the actual text of the vows and readings on the Ceremony Page so those of you who couldn't hear them can read them.

4. Photographs have been pouring in. ... We are adding them to the gallery pages as they come to us, so keep checking.

5. The wedding is over but the renovations continue. John Cleary (Jed's Dad) has returned to complete those wonderful doors many of you might have seen as you wandered near the cake table or to get coffee.

JOBS WANTED
Eric Dobbs (a recent addition to the family) and an all-around cracker-jack Java programmer has recently found himself out of work. Since networking is the way to go when these things happen, we'd like you to hunt him down and pick his brain if you think you might know of any job openings that require such talent. To check out his resume, click on the link below.

The following is an unpaid advertisment and has nothing to do with the wedding, its hosts or subsidiaries (AKA DOGS). If you don't find cats cute or cuddly, we apologize in advance.

Who wouldn't love two cute and cuddly cats?

Apparently, Nick Cantiello, the city editor at The Record (where Siobhan works), who already has a family feline.
These two -- mother and daughter -- Zelda on the right and Holly on the left -- were raised in New York City by one of Nick's lovely daughters, but she has had to give them up because she is moving. They have had all their shots and are spayed. If you are interested in the pair, (we don't want to encourage homewrecking at our wedding) let Siobhan know and she'll arrange a cat napping.
